Protection against water damage during vacancy with Leak360
Thanks to Leak360's technology, the asset manager has already been able to ensure that leaks and unnecessary water consumption are immediately detected and rectified in 3 different properties, saving considerable costs in the high five-figure range and enabling the further planned use (e.g. marketing, re-occupancy) of the buildings.
Strategische Dimensionen
Context
In the event of unintended consumption or a leak, the asset manager is immediately notified. This alert enables a rapid response, the implementation of appropriate measures, and thus the prevention of more extensive damage .

Concept
If a property is vacant or partially vacant, the corresponding water supply (main tap/secondary connection) must usually be closed.
However, this rarely happens. Manual inspections are often limited to general visual checks, e.g., for break-ins, vandalism, or fire hazards. Targeted checks of water meters or leak tests are not carried out.
Water damage is only detected when there is immediate, visible wetness or smell.
Contribution
Leak360's protection enabled an asset manager (with approximately €200 billion under management) to easily monitor relevant water cycles via our dashboard on their smartphone or computer.
Leak360 offers comprehensive and continuous monitoring of water supply, even in vacant properties.
The dependence on reliable controls (e.g., by external service providers) is significantly reduced.
